Yesterday at our Parent-Tot class we had the Lizard Wizard come visit. Jayden was so excited to see a snake that he blessed the snake in his morning prayer that day (and has blessed it in EVERY prayer since...I love 2 year old's prayers). When we got to class he was very excited to see and touch the big snake, but didn't care to touch or hold anything else. Here are a few pictures of me trying to get him to hold an alligator:) I'm an aweful mom...but he'll love the pictures later...right?!! Just so you know...he volunteered to go up and hold it in the first place.
"You are not going to make me hold that thing are you???
_
"Come on Jayden, just act like you are having fun...for the picture"
(notice he's holding HIS LEG not the alligator).
_

"Mom, I feel much safer looking at that thing from
over here by you."
_

This is Jayden & his friend Crue holding the "big snake". They were both really excited to hold it, but as you can tell by their faces, they are NOT really sure if they like it.

And this is what Tia did during all of this......

I would like to think that Tia is actually SHARING her treat with her friend Gage, but I'm sure she's just trying to get rid of it because she is sick of eating them! Thank goodness for Gage's bag of toys...it kept Tia busy for over an hour!
