Cleaning Up

I asked Tia to clean up her blocks this morning. I then walked away for a few minutes and came back to this:

Instead of putting them into their box, she cleaned them up right into her pajama pants. She's a crazy little girl who's personality is really starting to come out! We love you Tia! Thanks for always making us laugh!

Quick Visit from Dad

So, we couldn't wait 6 weeks to see Shane...what can I say...we miss him like crazy! He came to visit us in St. George for a day and a half. We had so much fun just being with him and doing fun activities as a family again! The kids would not let go of him! They LOVE their daddy!!! He's only been gone a couple of hours and it feels like forever! We miss you Shane and can't wait to see you again in 2 1/2 weeks!!!

Gardening with Grandma

Today the kids went with Grandma to pick the ripe fruits and vegetables from her garden. I must be honest...I've never been interested in gardening before...UNTIL NOW! It has been so fun seeing my mom's garden grow! Sometimes I go down to her garden, by myself, just to see how big things are getting. I am really excited for the THOUSANDS of grapes that are almost ripe...I can't wait! Here are some cute pictures of the kids helping grandma! They were SO EXCITED! All Tia cared about was filling her basket. Even if it meant picking unripe items...sorry Grandma!

Just getting started!

Lessons from Grandma.

Tia got one!

This was all pretty serious business to Tia! I couldn't get any smiles from her because she was too busy gardening.

Jayden was so proud of how much he picked. The basket was so heavy that I had to carry it in for him.

BBQ with the Girls

The other night my friend Trisha had a BBQ at her house. It was so fun getting together with some old-time friends (I think we've all known each other since at least 7th grade). Our kids had a blast playing together! Thanks again Trisha and Deven for hosting us all. We had a great time! We missed those who couldn't make it this time! We'll definitely have to do this again!

Here are all the adults ...the kids were having too much fun playing!

This picture was taken by a 9 year old little girl. Good job McCall!

And these next 2 pictures were taken by a 34 year old man...:(
" hmmm...."

"oh wait...there we are...down at the bottom"

We were having trouble getting a good picture of the girls, but I guess this is what you get when the guys are in charge :) ha ha...we sure got some good laughs though.

We did finally get this one. We were all a little confused at which camera to look at. Oh well! Audrie, Me, Holly, Stacie, & Trisha

And here's a picture of all of us back in 1996 (that I stole from Karisti's blog) on our High School graduation trip. Love you girls...thanks for keeping in touch! Back row: Karisti, Trisha, Jana Front Row: Jaime, me, Stacie, Audrie, Holly

We Love Frozen Yogurt!

So there's a new frozen yogurt shop in town that I find ourselves at whenever I've had a rough day...I'm definitely a woman...I love to eat sweets when I'm stressed!

The kids were all over the place and our table looked like a tornado had hit it when we were finished, but I tried to find some fun in it and started taking pictures. It helped...I realized that my kids were still cute (and not the little monsters I thought they were)! Anyways, the yogurt helped and we all went home happy!

Tia was cracking me up...she would open her mouth as wide as it would go for EVERY bite!

She finally gave up and just shoved the whole thing in her mouth.

Jayden was jealous that I was taking pictures of Tia so he wanted me to take this one.

I don't know if you can call this yogurt, but this is what Jayden was eating.

Random videos for Dad

These are seriously just two RANDOM videos for dad, but anyone is welcome to watch them!

Up to nothing.

Jayden told Tia that if she would lay down on the rug he would swing her around in it, but as you can see...that's not what happens!

Hollywood Studios

A couple of words about our experience
today at Hollywood Studios...

...HOT, HUMID, extremely CROWDED, and VERY long lines!

Despite the craziness we still managed to have a good time. Here are some fun pics!

Hollywood Studios

Our 70 minute wait for "Toy Story Mania"...I still can't believe we actually waited that long...what were we thinking!

Blast off!

While waiting in line to see Buzz Lightyear I asked Jayden to practice how he would smile when we got up to Buzz and this is what I got!

Buzz, Woody, and the gang.

Jayden's 1st picture with Buzz Lightyear! At least he didn't smile like he practiced :)

Jayden's really into STAR WARS right now! He would NOT let me walk by this without taking a picture.

Another STAR WARS photo.

AND...the best thing that happened to us all day...

LOVED IT!!!

Kennedy Space Center & Cocoa Beach

Kennedy Space Center
Eating lunch...

...with Astronaut JD Bartoe. While waiting for our bus tour, Tyler entertained all the kids by playing "Simon Says".

Our tour of Kennedy Space Center was really interesting - I really enjoyed it! Here is the shuttle that will be taking off this Saturday at 7:17 a.m. (Florida time). It was neat seeing it up close and learning about those who will be on it this weekend.

Us in front of the shuttle.

Alyssa, Jayden, Lauren, & Kaitlyn.

Cocoa Beach

The water on the East coast is so much warmer than the West coast. It was like bath water.

Playing with Uncle James.

Jayden was having a blast!

Look Dad, I can surf!
