Our Christmas Vacation 2008

Christmas Eve at my parents house
(St. George, Utah).
Every year Grandma Atkin picks out Christmas Pajamas for the whole family and we take a family photo.

Here are a few "fun" ones from previous years-enjoy:)!

2003-wow!

1996-should I admit that this is my family?

1987

It snowed on Christmas Eve. This is a big deal to those of us from St. George. I can only remember a few times that it's actually snowed(especially ON Christmas).

Our 1st WHITE Christmas!
(at least until it melted a few hours later)

All Tia wanted to do was EAT the snow.

I know we must sound like nerds calling this snow....I mean...we couldn't even make a snowman. But, we did make snowballs and threw them at each other :)

My dad is a MASTER CHEF when it comes to making breakfast! Here he is making his famous ABC omelettes (Eggs, Bacon, & Cheese...not quite sure how the e on eggs turned into an A, but nonetheless they are the BEST!)

Notice the concentration...this is not an easy thing to do-trust me!

Here's Tia watching Jayden open HER presents.

Jayden taking a picture of ME taking a picture of HIM with his new camera he got from Grandma & Grandpa Atkin.

Tia was having a "sweet" hair day on Christmas that just wouldn't go away no matter what we did!

Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without John Ross Hurst coming to play the piano for us. For as long as I can remember Ross has come over every Christmas Eve and given us our own little Christmas Concert. He tells stories and sings many fun Christmas songs. Our family looks forward to this every year!

December is a big birthday month in the Atkin family. Jayden, Carson, Grandma Atkin, Lauren, Uncle James, & Connor all have birthday's within 2 weeks of each other.

Here are a few pictures of some of the parties.

Mom & James blowing out their cake at the William's (my sister) Annual Pizza Party.

Caelan & Connor "RAPPING" happy birthday to Grandma & James.

Connor's birthday party

We had a fun time playing lots of games on New Years Eve with the cousins

We also hung out with our cousins over at Grandma & Grandpa Andrews' house (which is 3 blocks from Grandma & Grandpa Atkin's house).

Making Gingerbread men with Grandma Andrews

We had a BLAST with all of our family, but definitely missed those that couldn't make it! We love you all! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I love the jammies pictures! Your hair was sooo short in 2003. Very cute on you.
